About Us

What is InterVarsity?

• We are in interdenominational Christian community of all backgrounds and faith traditions (even if you would check none in that area) that connects people to Jesus and to others on the same journey. This is the place to check out Jesus for the first time if you never have, or to grow in your love and understanding for Him if you have. 
• College can be a hard transition for many people and we are here to connect you with life-long friends, Jesus and to help you find your purpose in college and your future. 
• We have a lot of ways to participate and be involved. BBQ’s, Dance parties, Bible studies, retreats, camps and large group are just a few things you can expect when you get involved. The friendships you build in this fellowship will be the closest and deepest friendships you will have during you college years and often beyond that. 
• How can I get involved?
  • Joining our community is easy! We have so many things going on, you won’t have time to get bored!
  • Large group
    • Every week we meet in AB 106 on Thursday nights at 8:00pm. We have awesome worship in many different styles, a speaker who relates topics in the Bible our college context and a fun snack/hanging out time afterward. 
  • Small group
    Our small group Bible studies are the backbone and key to our community. You not only learn more about Jesus and his teachings, you also get to know people on a much deeper level. We all study the same passages but we ask that you would commit to only one group so that you can build closer friendships. All of our Bible studies meet in the residence halls and we invite you to come even if you don’t live there! Make sure you fill out and interest card and we will connect you to a Bible study.
